how far do you travel?

Delivery and pick up is $50 within a 5km radius of Bulimba, QLD. For areas outside of this zone additional fees apply. If you are outside of this zone or not sure and would like to confirm a delivery fee please contact Print Candy.

payment and confirmation of booking

We ask for a 50% deposit at the time of booking confirmation (receipt of invoice) to secure your date. Until this deposit is received your booking is considered tentative.

We do not offer refunds, we do however offer one date change subject to availability and if we are given enough notice (4 weeks notice min). If the deposit has already been received we will transfer it to the new date.

All deposits are non-refundable, as all confirmed bookings are secure and hire equipment is removed from our inventory and not able to be supplied to another client once booked for that date. The balance owing is required 14 days prior to your event. If full payment is not received within these prescribed times, Print Candy reserves the right to cancel the booking.

Quotes are valid for 7 days from time of issue

why is there a security bond

A security bond is payable for all hire items the day before your party or event. The bond amount will vary depending on the Equipment hired and is therefore determined by individual booking requirements.. All bonds will be returned within 24-48 business hours, once all items of Equipment are returned in the same condition as were hired out to the Hirer, counted and checked. Should any equipment be found to be damaged, missing, permanently stained or require replacement, the Client will be invoiced for the full retail cost to replace, repair or clean the item.

Should the invoice for damaged, lost or replacement products be greater than the bond being held by the Owner on the Hirers behalf, the Owner reserves the right to bill the replacement charges to the Hirer.

The amount for the security bond will be confirmed at the time of your booking and will be outlined individually on your invoice. 

how long do you need for set up?

It all depends on the size of the event, we can be more specific when we know more about your event.

Set up and removal times vary depending on selection for hire. Flower walls generally take an hour to install. If your event is at a venue, please provide us with those details so we can arrange delivery, set up and collection options with management.

do you set everything up

Yes! We want you to concentrate on enjoying yourself, so we’ll take care of everything for you, including delivery to your venue, full setup & dismantling and collection at the end of the hire.

can any of the props and equipment be set up outdoors?

Please contact Print Candy prior to hiring if you are wanting to use any of our hire equipment outdoors. While the props and equipment are able to sit outdoors in perfect weather conditions, they are not designed to be left outside under any circumstance.

Windy areas are not recommended and our props and equipment are not made to withstand long periods exposed to the harsh sun or withstand rain and soggy soil. nor do we think your guests will enjoy taking pictures in unfavourable weather.

where should i place a flower/green wall at my party?

Our flower and green walls are freestanding and do not require to be fixed to any existing wall, however, we do request where possible, that we be located against a wall and ask that your guests and event staff do not lean up against the flower walls or prop any items against them. The walls are installed and grounded accordingly with weights for safety and must stay in the same place that we install them.

At Print Candy we are meticulous with our set up. Unlike other inferior set ups, our flowers cover the front and the sides of the frames, giving the wall a 3d effect and eliminating any view of the construction components, frame work, weight bags etc which can ruin the look of the flower wall and prove to be hazardous where base plates protrude causing people to trip.

Set up and break down is included in the flower wall price. For delivery prices please contact us to ensure you are within our free delivery area, if not, + charges will apply.

how much space is required for setup?

Space required for set up varies depending on the type, size and number of props selected for hire. It is the responsibility of the client to ensure there is adequate space for rental props to be installed. Please consider access into the event space before placing an order. All measurements are provided on our website and on the hire invoice. If you are in doubt, please contact us before you place an order. Once equipment has been confirmed, paid for and delivered we are not able to offer a refund.

can i move an item once it has been installed?

NO! To prevent damage and to ensure the safety of you and your party guests, all props and equipment including flower/green wall, animals, stands & easels, signs and tables can not be moved once they have been installed by Print Candy staff.

Rental items must be in perfect condition when print candy staff come to pick it up. Any damage will incur fees. security bond on all orders will apply and t&c’s must be adhered.
